Mental Health – The dictator of our life
Mental health is the ruler of our life .Mental health is the true gift of nurturing your mind .My journey being Autistic not only made me blind victim of society but a savage of social discrimination, people made bad comments on my behavior, they cut- off my wings of socialization ,My different way of communication was always disguised with positive thoughts but people tried to hit my mindfulness, skeptics of people lowered my self esteem, just like things are mute in the house i was cornered in the society, people stare at me like i am the joker of this world. Adding my experience of trauma gives more information about mental illness so freely without being dumped off, I am sharing my experience of how I became a victim of society. Sometimes I really take it for granted. Sometimes I drain out my emotions with more distractions . “My reality is not being different, not being disabled , not being non speaking ,My reality is” Being Human”. We are human first . Giving one simple example here to know what is mental distractions , when we are traveling we carry our own luggages , when our luggages are more ,we get irritate to handle it , we seek some others help to lift it, same way our thoughts are like Luggages which we are carrying in our head , we can handle it as much as we can,but when our thoughts exceeds we cannot handle it alone we need some others help , here some other person can be your family, friends , society who are compassionate towards you. I was carrying more thoughts in my head which distracted me from anxiety, nightmares and depression. When I evaluated my emotions it was a deadly feeling, then I thought of seeking my mother’s help , she relieved me from drowning.Today I am able to share my feelings, emotions freely because my mother is my therapist, understanding your mental illness is very important . Every human being faces mental illness in one or the other phase of their life ,what we are seeing in today’s generation is horrible , people are masking their mental illness. Like we seek medical help when we are physically sick, the same way we have to seek doctors, psychologists, counselors help to deal with mental illness .
We all talk about” Healthy mind in a healthy body” but healthy mind is always in stress nowadays , your insights are reading this illness but you are not able to connect with your thoughts . During the covid period many people suffered from mental illness . We saw many children getting engaged with gadgets all the time , they were locked in home with tv, mobiles,tablets, virtual autism being diagnosed in many children, they were discouraged with holistic play activities, kids were not rescued from family, society since they were also the victim of screening whole day .Gadgets are not the reason for your mental illness,what you do with gadgets, how much time you spend with gadgets, what you watch through gadgets,what you take away from gadgets are the reason for your mental illness. You are the reason for your mental illness. Gadgets can be your companion as well as your enemy , gadgets are the electronic devices which run by charging batteries ,the same way the human brain is like gadgets which run by love ,relationship of family. So family relationships play a crucial role in developing mental health, family support is a great source of healing for mental illness. We see many children getting trapped under stress, lack of motivation,low self esteem, due to bullying ,due to judgmental society, due to fear of getting punishment from parents ,they choose the death bed, very sad to see parents losing their children , Here body is not dead ,the feelings are dead, because it cannot handle mental trauma.
“Mental health is molding of our abilities and shaping our thoughts” to be mindful one should listen to their inner voice ,the more you talk to yourself, the more you grow wiser ,with a healthy mind , it’s time to know about yourself more,than to be judged by others,your mind need space to read your emotions so only you can change yourself towards being mindful.Whatever profession you choose , whatever work you are doing, always ask yourself whether you are happy insight,because happiness is the key for mental health, to be mentally fit one should energize their inner happiness. Here I would like to share some healthy tips for a healthy mind.
- Emotions are always connected with gut, so gut feelings are justifiable
- Give your body more Movements, Music ,Meditation. Music for distracting from bad mood.Meditation for building connection with mind,body and soul and Movements ie good exercise for brain and body
- Thoughts are unpredictable so always clear your negative thoughts by talking with your insight, if it is not clear to yourself then share with your near and dear ones
- Risk of failure is in everyone’s life ,but to succeed in life, execute your failures , in this competitive world everyone is racing to win,but winning should not be the goal ,your focus should be the race towards experiencing it. Our race is always with our whispering thoughts.
- We are seeing competition everywhere, committing of suicide everywhere,Being a spiritual person I just want to through more light on this , Life is not what we see, Life is what we do, Life is what we think,So be more true to yourself.
- People need to understand that happiness is the pillar of life, your mind will dance when you are happy, everyone should apply bear dance in their life ,bear dance release your stress ,tension
- Be more conscious about your diet plan, What we eat, When we eat, How we eat has a great impact on our mental health.
- Your lifestyle is your life line ,so exercising your Mind,body and soul spiritually makes your life more peaceful.
